Special issue “Mobility, housing and labour markets in times of economic crises”

The papers that make up this special issue on “Mobility, housing and labour markets in times of economic crises” published in “Regional studies” originate from a NECTAR1 Cluster 4 meeting (devoted to travel, migration, housing and labour market issues) held in Toledo, Spain, in October 2016. These empirically based contributions cover various different European studies for different regional contexts. Nectar workshops reschedule

The Corona crisis is also affecting the organization of NECTAR workshops.

The NECTAR cluster workshop “Social and Health Implications of Active Travel Policies”, hosted by University of Venice, Italy, originally planned for 26-27 March, has already been rescheduled to October 15-16, 2020.

NECTAR Cluster 3 workshop on “Intermodality and synchromodality in the European Modular System”, organized by University of Zaragoza and planned for June 4-5, will be postponed to fall 2020. A new date will be announced soon.

NECTAR Cluster 5 workshop “Policies and Strategies in Sustainable Tourism”, hosted by BBW University of Applied Sciences, Berlin, planned for 18th & 19th of June, will be postponed too. A new date will be announced soon.

Special issue ”Advances in Spatial and Transport Network Analysis”

A special issue ”Advances in Spatial and Transport Network Analysis” in MDPI International Journal of Geo-Information is being edited by Henrikki Tenkanen (UCL), Elsa Arcaute (CASA), Rafael Pereira (Ipea, Brazil) and Marta Gonzalez (UC Berkley). The deadline for papers is 31st December 2020. The call (see here) is dedicated to advances related to accessibility / spatial network analysis that deal with issues such as climate change and sustainability.
