Cluster 8 of NECTAR on Information and Communications Technologies (ICTs) is a organising a special session for the 63rd Annual North American Meetings of the Regional Science Association International (NARSC), November 9-12, Minneapolis, on big data applications in regional science and transport. We are pleased to announce that the 2017 World Symposium on Transport and Land Use Research (WSTLUR) will be held in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, July 3rd- July 6th, 2017 (http://www.wstlur.org/symposium/2017/). We seek original papers (not submitted elsewhere) on the interaction of transport and land use. Papers must be submitted by October 31st, 2016. WSTLUR membership is not required to submit a paper. Each conference registrant may be a co-author on multiple papers, but there is a limit of one presentation per registrant.

The annual meeting of the Association of American Geographers (AAG) will take place March 29 – April 2, 2016 in San Francisco. SIGD4 of WCTRS kindly invites abstract submissions for session track D4. – “ICT, Activities, Time Use and Travel Behaviour”. There is a possibility to join the Special Interest Group on the track topic. The deadline for abstracts is 15 March 2015. There is a choice between a track with full review and without. The IGU Transport and Geography Commission are organising three thematic sessions of research papers for the 2015 IGU Moscow Conference

The call for sessions and papers for the RGS-IBG Annual International Conference is now open and we would like to invite suggestions for sessions sponsored by the Transport Geography Research Group. The conference will take place at the University of Exeter from the 2nd-4th September and will be chaired by Professor Sarah Whatmore (University of Oxford). The conference theme is Geographies of the Anthropocene
