The IGU Transport and Geography Commission are organising three thematic sessions of research papers for the 2015 IGU Moscow Conference
- Andrew Goetz (University of Denver, USA) and Becky Loo (University of Hong Kong) are co-convening a session on the theme of Geographical Impacts of Transport and Regional Development, including the study of economic, social, and environmental effects of transport infrastructure investment.
- Yves Boquet (University of Bourgogne, France), Anastasia Lomakina (Institute of Geography, Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow, Russia), and Vladimir Shuvalov are co-convening a session on the theme of Transport Development in Regions of High Latitudes or High Altitude.
